Dear Ministry Partners, Like most of you, my email inbox has been inundated the past few days with Coronavirus related messages from business entities and government agencies. It is not our intention to overwhelm you with messages from the MARBC daily. It will be our practice at this point to send out a new issue of the Messenger e-newsletter when the volume of information would warrant an additional communication. However, we will be diligent to post any relevant information regularly on the MARBC website at www.marbc.net. Many pastors are also giving practical counsel and support to one another on the MARBC Facebook page. I recommend that you stay in communication with pastors and churches in your region, to not only learn of their plans and procedures, but also to seek opportunities to support one another and your community leaders in prayerful initiatives.
Pastors from churches of a variety of sizes and locations in our state and elsewhere have given us permission to share copies of their communications with their congregations as helpful examples. We thank them for their encouragement. Those are available to you by contacting the MARBC office, marbcoffice@gmail.com. Please do not hesitate to contact our office should you need additional input or counsel moving forward during these unique days in our world. It is good to remember that, while our physical connections may be somewhat limited in the coming weeks, as believers we can “with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16 ESV). Indeed, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1). It is a blessing to join with you in trusting God for HIs guidance and enablement as we partner together for His glory. Ken Floyd MARBC Ministry Director
