Peer review, mentoring from a coach, and ultimately the competition all work together to help students become more efficient in using their talents for the Lord.

Dozens of teenagers, parents, and churches gathered at West Cannon Baptist Church on Saturday, April 25, for the annual MARBC Talents for Christ competition. Talents for Christ(TFC) helps teens in grades 9-12 to develop their God-given talents for ministry within the local church. It encourages students to prepare and to gain skill for serving the Lord. Pastor Ken Pyne, Evangel Baptist Church in Taylor, continues his faithful service as the TFC coordinator. We greatly appreciate the diligent, effective leadership that Ken has given to TFC for many years. We thank Ken and his staff, the TFC judges, and the West Cannon Baptist Church family for making this a wonderful day for the teens and families of the MARBC.
